About Workplace Safety Funds

Workplace Safety Funds is an LHA Trust Funds grant program that rewards healthcare facilities that turn proactive ideas into actionable steps to improve employee safety and minimize or prevent workplace hazards. 

Your facility must be a member of the LHA Workers’ Compensation Fund to be eligible for this grant. Members who have premiums in excess of $10,000 are eligible to participate and receive up to 5% of renewing premium to fund approved projects.

Application Criteria

In order to be considered, members must meet specific criteria and select a project from our approved list of Workplace Safety Improvement Initiatives. Each submission will be evaluated for approval based on its merits. See full criteria list here.
