Meet Last Year’s Winner
Dr. Wayne Barksdale, MD, of Hardtner Medical Clinic received the most nominations, becoming Louisiana’s Favorite Doctor 2024.
Members of both LHA Trust Funds and Dr. Barksdale’s teams gathered for a live, surprise presentation to honor Dr. Barksdale who received a $1,000 grand prize.
Dr. Barksdale has been in private practice for more than 20 years. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians, the Louisiana State Medical Society, and the Shreveport Medical Society. In addition to his thriving family medicine practice, Dr. Barksdale performs flight physicals for pilots from Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas.
