NFPA 101/NFPA 80 Course: Fire Door Inspection For Healthcare Facilities
LHA Trust Funds and the LHA Management Corporation have teamed up to offer a one-day course on the Life Safety Code: NFPA 101 and 80 Standards. The U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) adoption of the 2012 edition of NFPA 101: Life Safety Code® requires that health care facility operators conduct a yearly inspection of fire door assemblies in accordance with NFPA 80: Standard for Fire Doors and Other Opening Protectives.
The course will address door types encountered along the egress paths within a health care facility, the door locking means permitted, the eleven verification points required for the yearly inspection of swinging fire door assemblies, and the knowledge and skills required to perform inspection and testing in accordance with NFPA 80.
This NFPA training is not offered anywhere in our region and will include the NFPA Handbooks on each standard. Don’t miss this opportunity to get the most up-to-date training straight from the source.
