In this webinar, Liability Claims Manager Mike Walsh, AIC, CPCU, will provide case studies of actual claims arising from care provided in the physician office/clinic setting resulting in settlements or judgments. He will also provide lessons learned from our investigation of these claims so that appropriate action can be taken to prevent similar situations from arising in the future.

Presenter Mike Walsh, AIC, CPCU

||Mike Walsh has over 31 years experience in casualty claims handling all liability lines and workers compensation. He is a former Executive Director of the Louisiana Patients’ Compensation Fund. Mr. Walsh has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Boston College and his designations include:
- AIC (Associates in Claims) professional designation from the American Insurance Institute upon the successful completion of four national exams and assists with coverage, liability, and damages in workers compensation, property and liability claims, human relations, and bad faith issues.
- CPCU (Charter Property and Casualty Underwriter), a prestigious professional designation requiring the completion of nine graduate and postgraduate courses covering insurance law, history, contracts, property insurance, liability insurance, operations, rate making, and risk management, as well as business courses in finance, corporate structure, and ethics.
