Learn MoreAntibiotics can be a life-saving treatment for bacterial infections, however, they are ineffective against viral infections. Anytime antibiotics are prescribed, they can lead to side effects and contribute to the growing problem of antibiotic resistance. During this webinar, “Getting Started in Improving Antibiotic Use,” Drs Tsay and Neuhauser will discuss current trends in antibiotic use in the United States and ways that clinicians and facilities can identify opportunities for improvement within their own practice or facility.
Participants will receive 1.0 nursing contact hours by the Louisiana Hospital Association for complete attendance of the program. The Louisiana Hospital Association is approved by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing – CE Provider #39.
