Violence in healthcare continues to be on the raise around the nation. Unfortunately, not all of our healthcare organizations have on-site security that can immediately intervene when a security event occurs.

Continuing Education

Participants will receive 1.0 nursing contact hours by the Louisiana Hospital Association for complete attendance of the program. The Louisiana Hospital Association is approved by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing – CE Provider #39.

CHSP/CPSO: 1.0 contact hours of continuing education credit toward fulfillment of the requirements of CHSP designation of Certified Healthcare Safety Professional & CPSO designation of Certified Patient Safety Officer.
