Ms. Renada W. Deschamp, MPA, CDE®, joined Woman’s in October 2022 as Vice President, Chief Diversity Officer. She is responsible for the creation, implementation, and integration of a comprehensive diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy that includes talent life cycle, operations, and health equity.

Ms. Deschamp earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration from Southern University A&M College, Nelson Mandela College of Government & Social Sciences.

She holds certificates in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University and the University of South Florida and is also a Certified Diversity Executive through the Institute for Diversity Certification (IDC).

She is active in the community and serves on several Boards of Directors committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. She is currently a member of the YWCA of Greater Baton Rouge Board of Directors, and the Louisiana SHRM DEI Summit Conference Committee. Renada has previously served on other boards such as Greater Baton Rouge Society for Human Resource Management, where she served as Diversity Director, and the Association for Talent Development, Baton Rouge Chapter.

Ms. Deschamp brings more than 14 years of experience and has spent most of her career in Human Resources in healthcare fostering leadership and talent development and driving diversity, equity, and inclusion work. Prior to joining Woman’s, she served as the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Integration Program Manager for the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady (FMOL) Health System. While at FMOL, Ms. Deschamp oversaw the creation of cross-functional workgroups to advance Diversity Equity & Inclusion strategy across the health system to drive both internal and external results.

Driven by her passion for people, desires to be a catalyst for both empathy and human connectedness, and to remove barriers for the underrepresented to allow them to reach their full potential, Ms. Deschamp takes pride in collaborating with leaders to achieve the best solutions possible to help organizations achieve their equity and inclusion goals for both internal and external stakeholders. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband Adrian, and children Kennedy (deceased), Braxton and Lincoln, and fur-baby Franklin.
