This annual Trends In Healthcare Risk Conference targets healthcare industry hot topics impacting patient and visitor safety. The program has been designed to elevate awareness, identify risks, and provide practical solutions to emerging issues.

This event is being offered at no cost to members of the Malpractice and General Liability Trust and The Physicians Trust. Registration is required for attendance.

Anyone interested in healthcare risk trends, including Risk Managers, Quality Coordinators, I.T., Directors of Nursing, Clinicians, and Safety Coordinators, is invited to attend this event.

8:45 am – 10:00 am: Healthcare Technology Liability Risks: Secure Texting Communication & Artificial Intelligence

Identify and discuss the liability risks in secure texting and artificial intelligence in healthcare.

Continuing Education

Nursing: 5.25 nursing contact hours by Hospital Services of Louisiana, Inc for complete attendance of the program. Hospital Services of Louisiana, Inc is approved by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing – CE Provider #60.

CHSP/CPSO: 5.25 contact hours of continuing education credit toward fulfillment of the requirements of CHSP designation of Certified Healthcare Safety Professional & CPSO designation of Certified Patient Safety Officer.

CPHRM: 4.75 contact hours of continuing education credit toward fulfillment of the requirements of ASHRM designations of FASHRM (Fellow) and DFASHRM (Distinguished Fellow) and towards CPHRM renewal.

Cost

This event is being offered at no cost to members of the Malpractice and General Liability Trust and The Physicians Trust.

Non-members are also welcome to attend for a $495 fee.
