Jamie Lamb, Director of Claims Operations

As Director of Claims Operations, Ms. Jamie Lamb brings more than 26 years of experience handling complex general liability, medical malpractice, and other professional liability claims to the speaker’s podium.

Ms. Lamb uses real-life claim scenarios to discuss various issues that influence and impact claims. These issues range from incident investigations and security in healthcare to compliance and patient safety.

She is well-versed in the 21st Century Cures Act and ensuring physicians have the necessary information to comply with it effectively. Her guidance and recommendations for compliance with the Cures Act and open notes are one of our most popular presentations. Ms. Lamb dedicates her time to helping our members navigate the complexities and potential exposures inherent in complying with new regulations.

Caroline Stegeman, Director of Patient Safety

As Director of Patient Safety, Ms. Stegeman’s extensive list of titles — RN, BSN, MJ, ONC, CPHRM, and CPSO — only begins to demonstrate the depths of her more than 30 years of nursing and clinical risk management experience.

Ms. Stegeman works closely with LHA Trust Funds members to provide patient safety recommendations and put them into practice to reduce risk. She speaks on many different patient safety and risk management subjects, including risk assessment, emergency preparedness, disaster management, and quality improvement.

She has extensive knowledge of telehealth exposures and patient safety risks inherent when conducting telehealth appointments in your physician’s office practice. Ms. Stegeman’s expertise in telehealth best practices allows her to help physicians limit liability when conducting virtual patient visits.

Glenn Eiserloh, Senior Risk Consultant

As Senior Risk Consultant, Glenn Eiserloh is a gifted speaker and presenter with a unique perspective honed from more than a decade of providing direct support to LHA Trust Funds members to prevent and reduce risks for employees, visitors, and patient.

With more than 17 years of experience in loss prevention and risk management in workers’ compensation and general liability exposures, Mr. Eiserloh conducts extensive on-site risk assessments and safety audits that give LHA Trust Funds members the tools they need to minimize risk proactively.

In addition to speaking on a variety of topics related to reducing injury and liability within healthcare facilities, Mr. Eiserloh is an OSHA Outreach Training Program Authorized Trainer. He has also pursued special training in the emerging field of CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) from the National Institute of Crime Prevention.

Mr. Eiserloh appears on the “Developing a Violence Prevention Program” panel on June 20 at 10:00 a.m.
