Fulfill Your MATE Act Training Requirements with Free Courses
The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) recently released guidance on the Medications Access and Training Expansion (MATE) Act and its requirements.
According to the guidance, all DEA-registered practitioners must complete 8 hours of MATE Act training on the treatment and management of patients with opioid or other substance use disorders. Practitioners must complete this training before renewing their DEA license on or after Tuesday, June 27, 2023, to meet MATE Act requirements.
