It ensures that incidents are properly addressed, lessons are learned, and the organization continuously improves its ability to safeguard sensitive information.

    In this presentation, trends regarding weapons detection technologies and related processes in the healthcare industry will be discussed, including developments in security equipment and technology being used to address these issues, specifics regarding successful deployment and sustainability of such programs, and the overall impact of weapons detection processes as related to the risk tolerance of a healthcare organization.

Nursing: 6.0 nursing contact hours by Hospital Services of Louisiana, Inc for complete attendance of the program. Hospital Services of Louisiana, Inc is approved by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing – CE Provider #60.

CHSP/CPSO: 6.0 contact hours of continuing education credit toward fulfillment of the requirements of CHSP designation of Certified Healthcare Safety Professional & CPSO designation of Certified Patient Safety Officer.

CPHRM: 5.75 contact hours of continuing education credit toward fulfillment of the requirements of ASHRM designations of FASHRM (Fellow) and DFASHRM (Distinguished Fellow) and towards CPHRM renewal.
