Applicability of Diagnoses from Telehealth Services for Risk Adjustment


COVID-19 caused a rapid expansion in telehealth services as most physician office practices were forced to discontinue seeing patients in the office. CMS issued a memo on Friday, April 10, 2020, to address the submission of diagnoses for risk-adjusted payment for telehealth services that may be helpful when billing for encounters.
