Safety Star for Healthcare Facilities
In 2023, we are focusing the Safety Star Award for healthcare facilities on projects that have reduced the risk of violence in your organization. If your facility can demonstrate improved patient or visitor safety due to improved processes or programs intended to prevent violence, you are eligible to apply!
Award winners receive:
- A $10,000 cash award
- Paid conference registration and expenses for a designee to attend the annual American Society of Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM) conference.
- A recognition luncheon for your project team
- Recognition by LHA Trust Funds on our website, in our promotional materials, and to our members
Do I Qualify for the Safety Star Award for Healthcare Facilities?
Members of the LHA Malpractice and General Liability Fund who can demonstrate improved patient or visitor safety due to improved processes or programs to prevent violence are eligible to apply!
