CMS: Updated COVID-19 Emergency Declaration Blanket Waivers


This document contains a list of the 1135 waivers that have been approved and are retroactive to March 1, 2020. These waivers offer flexibility in regulations to make it easier for healthcare providers to provide services during the COVID-19 pandemic.


The newest waiver since 4/21/2020 addresses further expansion of telehealth services to other types of healthcare professionals who are also eligible to bill Medicare for professional services such as physical and occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and others.
